抄録: 本稿の目的は，生活クラブ生協の諸活動の「衰退」の理由について分析をするための仮説を整理することである。生活クラブ生協・北海道を事例として，生活クラブ生協の「衰退」「沈滞」状況をデータで確認した後，生活クラブ生協に関する先行研究を再検討し，これまで明示的にされていなかった生活クラブ生協の活動に関する構造的な問題点を整理した。これらの検討と生活クラブ生協・北海道に対する予備調査を踏まえて，生活クラブ生協の活動が「衰退」した要因を，マクロ要因，メゾ要因，ミクロ要因に分類し，仮説として整理した。; The purpose of this article is to organize some hypotheses of the cause of the "decline" of the Seikatsu Club Consumers' Co-Operative' s activities. At first, we show that the activities of the Seikatsu Club Consumers' Co-Operative in Hokkaido is in "decline" or has become "stagnant" by some quantitative data. After reviewing some preceding research on the Seikatsu Club Consumers' Co-Operative, we point out the structural problems. Then we classify the cause of the "decline" of Seikatsu Club Consumers' Co-Operative' s activities into three level factors (macro, meso, micro), and present some hypotheses about activities of Seikatsu Club Consumers' Co-Operative.
